Ecclestone: Mosley will not seek another term as FIA boss
Max Mosley will live up to his promise and not seek another term as president of the ruling motorsport body FIA, Formula One commercial rights boss Bernie Ecclestone said.
"I have no doubt in my mind, as long as I've known Max, he's always done what he said he would do," Ecclestone told Saturday's edition of British daily The Times. "He's an honourable person."
Mosley said he will step down in October after a bitter row between the FIA and eight teams represented in the FOTA body was ended last month.
However, the affair is still simmering and doubts have been raised whether Mosley would not seek a fifth term as FIA boss after all, which would most likely lead to a split with the FOTA teams.
