Social sector is a priority in B-2010
B-2010 priorities are social sector, education, health, environment, road infrastructure, internal order and security.
Projected revenues under the consolidated fiscal program for 2010 amount to 26.4 billion, which is 41.6 percent of the GDP, including tax, and non-tax benefits. Out of them, tax revenues amount to 20.9 billion, non-tax revenues for 2010 - to 3.4 billion and the aids, whose major part are those of the European budget, are estimated at 2.1 billion USD.
The allocation of government expenditures is in line with the priorities and the government's anti-crisis measures, the Ministry of Finance informed.
The amount outlaid for the social sector accounts for 36.7 percent of the total costs or 15.1 percent of the GDP. In the recent years public disbursements on education have been above 4.0 percent of the GDP; the budget for 2010 provisions a similar level that is 4.2 percent of the GDP.
Public health expenditure will remain at a level of 4.2% of the GDP as their nominal amount is EUR 2.6 billion.
Investment costs, planned in B-2010 are focused on priority environmental and road infrastructure. The total capital expenditure on the consolidated fiscal program amounts to 6.1 percent of the GDP. Out of them 3.0% are investments funded by the national budget and the remaining 3.1% of the GDP come from EU funds.
In B-2010 budget the money provided for environmental protection amounts to 1.6 percent of the GDP.
The expenditures, planned to ensure citizens' order and security, amount to 1.3 billion or 2.0% of the GDP.
