This particular industry has been thriving in spite of current economic crisis and considerable growth has been seen in the past years. As the profit increases, the number of people employed each year also continues to increase. The division has also generated a turnover of about 1.12 Billion Pounds in all, and 698 Million Pounds come from its Scottish operation alone.
BAE, which is one of the largest defense companies in the world, has a whole range of products which include armored vehicles, warships, electronics, missile systems and military aircrafts. Reports have come through that BAE is making huge contributions to the UK government and their partnership has secured the jobs of 8000 people throughout Scotland.
