Bristol-Myers CFO Jean-Marc Huet to Resign - Group Confirms
Charles Bancroft has been appointed as the acting Chief Executive Officer by Bristol-Myers Squibb Co., after an official announcement that CFO Jean-Marc Huet would be resigning from the pharmaceutical company by the end of the current year. Effective January 01, 2009, Mr. Bancroft will take over.
As shared by Chief Executive James Cornelius, Mr. Huet has expressed a desire to return to Europe.
In his new role, Mr. Bancroft will continue to report to Lamberto Andreotti, President and Chief Operating Officer.
A member of the top management world for some 25 years, Mr. Bancroft was most recently the Vice President for finance at Bristol's global biopharmaceutical business.
