Elin Nordegren Skiing in The Alps
While, no one knows where embattled Tiger Woods has disappeared to, his wife Elin Nordegren, 30, putting thousand of miles between her scandal ridden husband is staying at a $8,000 per night, seven bedroom chalet outside the posh French Alps ski resort town of Chamonix, even as she considers her future.
Nordegren and Josefin, her twin sister together with close friends and under the watchful eye of a private French security force consisting of five men, are spending time skiing in Les Houches, an exclusive ski area next to the Chamonix valley, over-looking the picturesque Mont Blanc.
Even though the chalet is fully staffed and has its own chef, the sisters hosted a New Year's Eve celebration that turned into the 30th birthday party of the twins at midnight.
The Sun quoting a family friend says Nordegren wanted to escape the minefield created by Tiger's behaviour, with Elin telling her husband she needed to be apart for a lengthy period of time, so that she could reflect on the best way to salvage their marriage.
There is no word about when Nordegren will head back to the home she shares with Woods in Windermere, Florida.
