Google Plus Registers 90 Million Users
Google CEO Larry Page is quite happy these days, as Google Plus has registered mind boggling data of its users. As per the data, there are 90 million users which is double the number that was told before two months.
However, the picture in reality might not be that rosy as it seems from outside. It is reported that Google counts Google Plus log in from the time when a person starts using the Google search. He would remain be logged in whether he is using Google Docs or any other application of Google.
It has led experts ask Page to reveal exact figures of Google Plus. But for Page, it does matter. He said that Google is such an integrated site that everything is attached with one and the other. Page’s answer has not be able to satiate media professionals who said that every social networking site as well as other internet sites have proper data which tells its total number of users.
They further affirmed that Facebook has 800 million active users, from which, 50% turn to it every day. Till date, it is the first and the only site which has such committed users. But it seems Google, in trying to overcome Facebook, has been forgetting the basics of the data collection.
In another place, there are some experts who feel that Google’s 90 million data is a great number whether or not it has been based solely on Google Plus number. They further asserted that Google have been making efforts to make things easier.
"If you try to create a Google account from Google's homepage, you'll notice that Google redesigned the page, but that's not all. You'll now have to create a Gmail account, a Google Profile and you'll automatically join Google”, is one such example, said they.
