Give Up Booze, Live Life Better
In a new nationwide government campaign, there are efforts being made to make people realize how bad boozing really is for them. More and more people are getting indulged in boozing and partying hard these days. This might be due to peer pressure in the teenage, and people later tend to get hooked on to alcohol. They seem to have forgotten how to enjoy life without beers and vodkas.
The change 4 life campaign is a new campaign that has been launched to encourage more and more people to give up the evil of drinking alcohol. There are more than 9 million drinkers only in England and its time the health authorities took a firm stand on curbing this evil habit.
It's high time now that people are made to realize how they are heading for disaster. Excessive intake of alcohol in injurious to health, even a kid would know that. What is difficult for drinkers is to maintain that safety line. Actually there is no safety line. Any sort of alcohol, in any quantity, is injurious to health. One seems to fail to understand how badly it tends to effect not just the body, but also the psyche of the person.
Once one gets hooked, there is no looking back. Alcohol is one addiction people seem to fight for the rest of their lives once they get stuck with it.
This is why it is essential that one takes a stand on it, while there is still time, and hope. There is need for more efforts and awareness programs to be launched, to make people understand that drinking alcohol means cutting one's liver with acid. There is need for understanding the ill effects so that one can quit for a better life.
