Breastfeeding Row Going Places
In case you breast feeding your baby even after six months of his birth then, as per the health ministry, you’ve done an act worth appreciation.
While, on the other hand, there are many who don’t believe in breast feeding for that longer period of time.
While expressing her opinion regarding the issue, one such lady, Kate Rhodes, said: “I've always decided I’m going to bottle feed. It's never been a norm in my family - no one has done it. I've also read on the SMA thing that all the good stuff is in [breast milk]”.
However, even her claims are a bit worth heeding as she says that women who drink a lot of coffee, booze and even smoke must give it a thought whether or not the stuff they’re thinking about feeding their baby with is good.
Ms. Rhodes has therefore openly supported bottle feeding following an incident in which Piri Weepu was seen on Campbell Live earlier on Monday. Just like Weepu, even she has a feeling of discriminated against. A look of Piri Weepu feeding his infant with a bottle has now been removed from an advert, as there were a lot of complaints recorded against the visual from a number of pro-breastfeeding groups.
The short visual is a segment of an advert made with the intent of making people aware about the harmful consequences of smoking. But still, La Leche League held the opinion that the representation of the high-status All Black will end up doing noteworthy damage to the practice of breastfeeding all over New Zealand. The group has claimed that it's just regarding the general message it delivers being regular.
In the meantime, a large number of breastfeeding supporters argued that Piri Weepu is a highly loved and popular figure and everything done by him is certain to get a massive follow-up because of his gigantic fan-following.
