The digital camera manufacturer, Canon launched five new cameras on Tuesday. It includes two entry level products A2000 IS and the EOS 50D SLR for professional applications. A2000 IS would replace the entry-level A720 IS. It consumes low power using two AA rechargeable batteries.
The A2000 supports a 10-megapixel camera, a 6x optical zoom, image stabilization, a three inch LCD screen and slimmer and stylish body. It is available in two colors such as grey or silver at a price of $249.99. The A1000 IS and E1 models are priced at $199.99. Both have already same specifications except their looking. The cameras supports 10 mega pixel cams, a 4x optical zoom with image stabilization, and a 2.5-inch well designed LCD screen.
The super zoom cam SX100 IS presents 10x optical zoom with a 3-inch LCD screen and 9 mega pixel cams. Its price is fixed at $279.99 and available in black and silver color. The professional model EOS 50D SLR is priced at $1,399. It is incorporated with a 23.3mm-by-14.9mm sensor and a new "Digix 4" image processor. It supports a compact flash memory card and UDMA CF for fast performance.
All cameras would be available in the month of October at all leading electronic stores.
