DaimlerChrysler AG intends to invest 20 million euro in Bulgaria.

During the working visit in the province of Baden-Wurttemberg Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivaylo Kalfin visited the premises of "Daimler". He met and talked with the leadership of the enterprise.
The minister examined and became familiar with the automatic process of production of the latest models of the concern, informed from the Foreign Affairs Ministry.
The heads of the company stated that they intend to focus on the civil sector in Bulgaria, because until now they have worked only in the military field.
They expressed their intention to invest in our country over 20 million euros in the next few years.
Minister Ivaylo Kalfin assured his hosts that Bulgaria will do everything possible to attract the economic interest of DaimlerChrysler AG, to build a strong branch of the enterprise in Eastern Europe.
