A 27-year old woman has given birth to septuplets in Al-Shatbi hospital in Egypt's coastal city of Alexandria, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported Saturday.
Dr Ahmad Sallam, who headed the medical team, said the case was a a "miracle" because the mother had not taken fertility drugs.
The seven babies, four boys and three girls, had been put in an incubator. The babies' weight in the meantime had reached two to three kilograms, medical sources were cited as saying.
