Europe Day, Victory Day

For a second in turn year Bulgaria celebrates Europe Day, being a European Union member state. It will meet the European holiday with many events across the country. May 9th is also Victory Day because on May 7th 1945 Germany capitulated and May 8th was announced as Victory in Europe day.
May 9th, has been celebrated in Bulgaria since many years as victory over hitlerites.
