Jessica Alba To Adopt A Child
According to People magazine, Jessica Alba has announced she plans to adopt a child.
During the filming of an upcoming episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, in which the actress helped rebuild a home for a Texas foster family of 15. Alba claims to have been inspired after helping a family, who despite living in a small trailer adopted 13 children, and since she would like a larger family, she was thinking of going the adoption route.
Oscar Hopeful Sandra Bullock Crowned Worst Actress
Saturday, just one day before the Oscars, Sandra Bullock, nominated for the Oscars and favoured to win, was crowned as the Worst Actress of 2009.
Nominated for her drama ‘The Blind Side’, Bullock was the odds-on favorite to win the best actress Oscar, however, she was awarded the Worst Female Performance Razzie Award for her acting in ‘All About Steve’.
This is a first as no actor or actress has won both the Razzie and Oscar in the same year.
Elin Nordegren Skiing in The Alps
While, no one knows where embattled Tiger Woods has disappeared to, his wife Elin Nordegren, 30, putting thousand of miles between her scandal ridden husband is staying at a $8,000 per night, seven bedroom chalet outside the posh French Alps ski resort town of Chamonix, even as she considers her future.
Nordegren and Josefin, her twin sister together with close friends and under the watchful eye of a private French security force consisting of five men, are spending time skiing in Les Houches, an exclusive ski area next to the Chamonix valley, over-looking the picturesque Mont Blanc.
Brangelina’s $100,000 Donation To Foster Care Organization
Getting into the spirit of giving this festive holiday season, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, known for their generosity, once again showed their caring side by donating $100,000 to alternative foster care organization - the American SOS Children’s Villages located in Illinois and Florida.
In her statement, Jolie, 34, said that she has seen the remarkable job SOS does in raising orphaned and abandoned children firsthand, including how they try and keep families together, by providing advanced education, vocational training, living assistance and support.

Lindsay Lohan’s Probation Period Extended
Probation officials saying Lindsay Lohan had missed some alcohol education classes, the actress was ordered to appear in court leading to her probation for a drink driving conviction being extended for one more year.
In August 22007, Lohan was asked to complete an 18-month alcohol awareness programme after she was convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol and other charges.
