Michael Schumaher is the favourite European among the French
A research showed that that the former pilot of Formula One Michael Schumaher is on the first place in the ranking of most favourite people in Europe among the French. It was made by EuropaNova and CSA institute and published today.
On the second place in the ranking of most favourite Europeans among the French are the Italian actress Monica Bellucci, followed by Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom. The German Chancellor Angela Merkel is on the fourth position. The fifth position is occupied by the British sailor Ellen MacArthur. In the top 10 there are two more sportsmen - the Swiss Roger Federer and the Spaniard Rafael Nadal, both tennis players. The study was made on the occasion of Europe day.
