Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas arrived Thursday in Beirut for talks with Lebanese officials on issues related to the situation in the region and Palestinians living in Lebanon.
After an official welcome at Beirut international airport, Abbas immediately went into talks with President Michel Suleiman at presidential palace in Baabda, east of the capital.
