Polish man arrested on suspicion of imprisoning, raping daughter
A 45-year-old man was arrested Monday in eastern Poland on suspicion of imprisoning his daughter for six years and raping her repeatedly.
The woman, 21, gave birth to two boys during her imprisonment, whom she said her father forced her to leave at the hospital.
Police in Siemiatycze, near the Belarus border, launched their search after the woman came in with her mother about a week ago to make a report, the Polish Press Agency reported. The man then ran away and police suspected he later tried to flee abroad.
In accordance with Polish law, the names of the victim and the suspect were not revealed.
