Bulgaria's world-famous Panagyurishte gold treasure dating back to Thracian times is to turn into the atmosphere of this year's spring Plovdiv Fair from 12 to 17 May.
The nine exclusive gold artifacts, seven wine rhytons, one amphora and a food plate, will be kept behind non-breakable windows under extreme security measures.
Guests of the fair will become among the hundreds of thousands Europeans, who have been able to see the treasure.
Panagyurishte Gold will then start for Saragossa to present Bulgaria at a future international exhibition in the Spanish city.
The treasure has already been shown in Paris, Basel, Brussels and many other cities.
Its artifacts reveal the craftsmanship of ancient gold workshops, which have reached perfection. The treasure is a witness to a very dazzling civilization and impress with their ornamental richness.
