International companies investing in real estate, began to gradually stray from Turkey, wrote the Turkish daily newspaper Turkish.Daily.News.
Recent data from studies of real estate market in Turkey showed a decline in foreign companies' investments.
As the main reason for this were indicated political and economic unrests in the country.
Major companies in the sector, planning large-scale investments and implementation of major projects, gradually began to return to the EU markets, Russia and the Middle East.
Security which those markets offer foreign companies is much greater now, Turkish analysts commented. Many of them believe that this year is totally lost, but what is worse is that this trend may continue in the next few years.
Directors of various construction companies said that they would suspend their investments in the Turkish market, pending developments in economic and political life of the country.
