Spanish Liga club Osasuna announced Wednesday that veteran striker Santi Ezquerro had signed a two-year contract with them.
Ezquerro, 31, has been given a free transfer by Barcelona.
He had been at the Camp Nou since 2005, after finishing his contract at Athletic Bilbao, but has been a marginal, unwanted figure at Barca, rarely making the bench let alone the field.
Ezquerro is the seventh player to leave Barca this summer, following Gianluca Zambrotta (AC Milan), Lilian Thuram (Paris Saint- Germain), Jose Edmilson (Villarreal), Deco (Chelsea), Ronaldinho (AC Milan) and Giovanni Dos Santos (Tottenham).
He started his career at Osasuna before playing for Atletico Madrid, Mallorca and Bilbao.
Ezquerro made just one appearance for Spain, in the infamous 1998 3-2 defeat away to Cyprus which led to the sacking of national manager Javier Clemente.
